Well, I’m back from Mexico after a year and a half consulting gig of trying to get some advanced manufacturing thriving there.  I sort of cashed out of a previous life in the suburbs, and am starting anew here in Baltimore on my own. My interests are wide-ranging urban stuff, political consensus building, mechanical engineering, materials science, biotechnology, electronics, computer science, and music.  I am a co-founder of a a couple of open labs, makerspaces or whatever you feel like calling them – –  The Baltimore Node and the Baltimore UnderGround Science Space (BUGSS).  I am really happy to be here.
